We analysed all 158 Toronto neighbourhoods using the latest available data from Toronto Police Service, Statistics Canada, the Fraser Institute, and City of Toronto Open Data. Every ranking below is driven by real numbers.
Waterfront Communities-The Island
Highest family score despite above-average crime (197). Why? 6 daycares, 7.5/10 schools, walk score 97, and $750K median. The crime is mostly property crime in the condo towers — the actual violent crime rate is low. Best transit access of any family pick.
